Hint: We know that the effect of absorbance on dilution can be easily determined with the help of Beer's law. Since the dilution and path length and molar absorptivity they all are directly proportional to absorbance so that we can write down the following formula for chemical equation, which is called as Beer’s Lambert law which is often referred to Beer’s Law and given by:
\[A=\varepsilon bc\]
Complete step-by-step answer:
The concept of the dilution relationship with molar concentration and volume and absorbance is given by:\[{{M}_{1}}{{V}_{1}}\text{ }=\text{ }{{M}_{2}}{{V}_{2}}\]
For example; if a \[1.0\] liter of the \[1.0\] molar solution is dilution of \[2.0\] molar solution and new molar dilution is of \[0.50\] Similarly the new dilution has been reduced by \[\dfrac{1}{2}\] of its and volume is double.
Beer's law relates with the concept of a concentration and absorbance and according to the given law the rate of absorbance as well as dilution is being directly proportional. If we increase original dilution of the solution absorbance increases and if we dilute solution and whenever we decrease original dilution absorbance will decreases rapidly
Note: Note that Beer’s Law is equation for straight line with y intercept of zero and one the factor that influence the absorbance of sample is concentration represented by C. The resulting expectation of experiment would be that as a concentration increases more and more amount of radiation is absorb as well as the rate of absorbance increases. Therefore, the absorbance is directly proportional to dilution and the second factor is path length b. The longer the path of the length the resulting will be of more molecules therefore the path of beam of a radiation and the absorbance increases steadily. Therefore the path of length is also directly proportional to dilution.
